I turn to those of you who have a house with landscaping or anyone with experience landscaping:

I have mulch around 2/3 of my house, and I hate it. I hate yardwork and pay a great guy to cut the grass and trim the bushes, etc.

But I usually have to deal with the mulch and weeds.

There has to be something better/easier to maintain that does not cost a fortune.

Does anyone have suggestions for replacing my mulch beds??
