My computer died. Fuck. I don't want to spend the day setting up a new one, I had other plans. Plus, I don't want to spend the money on a new one when this one is not that old and I am so pissed off right now I could scream.

That is awful. We all think our computers are supposed to live to ripe old ages before they kick off, and when they do, that's bad enough. But, when the "young uns" expire too early, that's when you want to raid Best Buy and kick every one's ass.

Hope you can get it sorted out, without too much stress. :)

Thanks. It's only 2 1/2 years old. This is ridiculous! I only use it for social media and solitaire, ffs. It should not be dead already! I'm buying the cheapest tower I can find because NONE of them last :(

At least I have this tablet and bluetooth keyboard for now.

Oh god, that sucks so much. Just a couple days ago I lost my ipod - and all 600+ songs, podfic, and videos I had stored on it.

It seems this is not a good time for electronics.

Ouch! I feel your pain, these last 2 years we've been watching every penny while the VA figures out "The Colonel's" disability pay. So what did I do? I broke the glass panel in our wood stove door. The cost to replace? Over $500. And yes, my damn laptop is running like molasses in December. I've done everything I van think of to fix it. Grumble*mumble*gripe* complain.
