One drawback of owning multiple cats is that when you wake up to a pool of blood on the dining room floor and no obviously injured animal, you spend the day wondering which one it was and what happened!

They are all uninjured, all acting normally, all of them ate breakfast.

What the heck happened??

I'm going to be worried all day, and I'm not going to be home all day. I hope I don't come back to another one.

Um, have you thought that maybe the blood didn't belong to them? That, perhaps, that is the only evidence of the crime scene. LOL

LOL That would be better, but there was no evidence of a body! So I don't think there were any poor critters in my house last night. And surely I would have heard something! :)

They all seem to be fine. There hasn't been another incident, so I'm just keeping my fingers crossed it was a one time thing.
