Yes, I'm happy to find out that Sherlock Season 4 (and a special!) will be filming next year. Glad to not have to wait so long for more episodes :)

Not that I don't love her, but I'm hoping Mary is dealt with for good in the special; I have no idea how they're going to deal with the baby :/

Haven't done much this week, since it's my vacation before starting the new job (I did go over yesterday to help out with some new testing and equipment at one of the locations). Just reading, watching Netflix streaming, shopping. Saw Jersey Boys the other day (long, not that great, but mom wanted to see it). Might go to the movies today too.

Cookout tomorrow at my brother's for the holiday \o/.

I deleted my tumblr to try and get away from fandom madness (I won't go into the many reasons that I do not like tumblr, lol). I unfollowed some fandom related twitter accounts as well, because it was getting a little ridiculous at my age LOL

Looking forward to the Chicago Stargate con next month. I might buy a gold or silver seat if I can find a good one for a decent price (not that I need more autographs!) and I will be bidding on David's Meet & Greet for sure (since I now have a decent paying job!).

That's my exciting life :)

Hope all my American friends have a great Independence weekend (yay for 3 day weekends!)!

Yes....gotta love the fandom madness....NOT! One of the big reasons why I took a step back from the H50 fandom with all of the craziness that has been going on.

Just how Moffat and Co. handle the issue of Mary will be interesting. I've read that S4 will be "darker, deeper". Makes me a little nervous, as I think of all the possibilities of angst for our beloved characters, John in particular.

I think angst for John is inevitable with the demise of Mary, let alone what they're going to do with the baby, if they stick with canon and Mary dies :/

That's why I hope it gets over and done with in the 'special'.

I agree. That way the new season can deal with the fallout and how John will proceed in his interactions with Sherlock.

I really hope that I'm wrong but I've got a bad feeling that the Christmas special is going to be John, Mary, and the baby at home for Christmas. I had such high expectations for Season 3 and was deeply disappointed. All I'm hoping for in Season 4 is a couple of good scenes and that it doesn't kill the fandom. Yes, I'm a pessimist but it's safer that way.

I'm naturally a pessimist too, but I was proven wrong when I thought I would hate Mary but ended up loving her, so I'm trusting in the writers to give me at least some of what I want :) But I understand completely why some people were disappointed with season three; personally, I find the baby storyline to be a huge mistake and cannot imagine how they'll resolve it satisfactorily :/
